Business Bridge is a new programme of business support offered by a partnership of Keele University and the University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust (UHNM), due for launch in January 2017. It is designed to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) wanting to grow further or diversify into medical technologies and healthcare markets.
As Project Manager, you will be an integral member of the Business Bridge project team. Working closely with the Innovation Manager and under supervision of colleagues, you will use your proven organisational abilities to support, enable and deliver project activities, and support the Project Director in delivering a professionally-managed project on time and on budget. You will contribute to project planning and organisation; be responsible for monitoring and reporting on progress; and ensure good coordination between the two project partners, Keele University and UHNM.
You will have a background in a relevant sector or discipline for a broadly defined MedTech/Healthcare market, such as life sciences or engineering. With proven success in handling several workstreams simultaneously, you will have excellent organisational and planning skills and a passion for making things happen.
The role is based at Keele University's Directorate of Engagement and Partnerships, and there will be regular activity at UHNM (Royal Stoke University Hospital). The Business Bridge, and the Business Bridge Project Manager role, is partly funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) as part of the England 2014 to 2020 European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF) Growth Programme.
