Reporting to the ERDF Project Management Accountant, the Finance & Project Coordinator will perform a key role in the financial management of the Directorate of Research, Innovation & Engagement, with a particular focus on supporting financial administration for the University's portfolio of projects part
funded
by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
The role-holder will provide assistance to the Operation Support Unit (OSU) in collating project claims and gathering evidence to address external stakeholder audit requirements. The role-holder will also support the effective administration of the Directorate budgets.
You will need to have a degree or equivalent experience with recent and relevant experience of working within a team and delivering results to tight deadlines. Strong interpersonal, analytical and IT skills are also required. The post needs someone who is able to provide sound financial information in a clear and understandable way whilst ensuring a first class professional service to internal and external stakeholders alike.
This role is part financed by the European Regional Development Fund, as part of the England 2014 to 2020 European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF) Growth Programme.
