These posts represents an exciting opportunity for ambitious individuals to join the Research Development team in Keele University Directorate of Research, Innovation and Engagement (RIE). The Research Development Team supports researchers in identifying and responding to funding opportunities to support their research.
You will support the Acting Head of Research Development on implementation of the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences Research Strategy by providing high quality support to academics in developing research funding proposals. You will provide proactive and reactive guidance on funding opportunities in order to stimulate research grant development. You will project manage the proposal development process, working closely and in a coordinated way with academic and professional services staff.
You will hold a degree and will have relevant experience in supporting development of research. You will also bring to the role a firm understanding of the landscape of research funding in the UK and excellent organisation and project management skills.
