This post represents an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a team of staff in Keele University's School of Medicine which is currently ranked 1st in the National Student Survey for Medicine. You will be part of the team who deliver anatomy and related teaching to undergraduate and postgraduate students within the School, the wider University and to outside customers.
You will contribute to teaching and assessment activity, participate in Problem Based Learning and interprofessional tutoring, carry out prosection work, assist with or deliver laboratory sessions, conduct student assessments and prepare teaching materials and resources.
You will have a Degree in anatomy or a related subject, a PhD or MSc and a postgraduate qualification relating to anatomical or teaching activity, together with a proven record of teaching experience and strong organisational skills. Experience of anatomical dissection or prosection are essential, together with some experience of teaching in a medical school or similar environment. Strong organisational skills, good team working skills and excellent communication skills are also essential.
