Job details
We are looking for a proactive, motivated and resilient individual to take on this exciting role. With experience of working in a university residential setting, you will manage a team of Resident Advisers (current students) to coordinate and deliver a programme of activities and support to students living in Residences. You will balance the provision of
expert student support and advice with the delivery of a comprehensive wellbeing, education and personal development programme for students living in university accommodation. Based as part of a team within Student Services, you will work with internal and external partners to deliver activities, which promote a sense of community and a positive student experience.
With drive and enthusiasm, you will be responsible for the recruitment, training and management of a team of student Resident Advisers, providing expert leadership and ensuring that they are equipped and able to provide effective peer support to fellow students living in Residences. This role will require you to be creative and innovative as well as having the ability to react to the diverse needs of our Keele community.
The nature of the role will require you to have a flexible working approach involving some evening and weekend working. In addition, you will be on call, as part of an out of hours rota.
This role will provide the successful candidate with a great opportunity to make a real difference to the experience of our students at Keele.
