This post represents an exciting opportunity to join a team of staff in Keele University's Learning and Professional Development Centre (LPDC). The LPDC is responsible for the provision of staff and organisational development across the University and includes staff with expertise in staff development, academic development and the use and application of learning technology. Based in the academic development team, the creation of the new role of researcher developer signals the expansion of this area of work and the University's commitment to even further develop the research capabilities of academic staff and postgraduate research students.
Working within the context of a vibrant research culture and adherence to the principles of the Concordat to support the Career Development of Researchers, you will take responsibility for the co-ordination and delivery of a full range of workshops, and the development of new online learning materials for postgraduate research students, early career researchers and supervisors. You will have a degree and PhD and experience of working in higher education and/or of delivering training provision in industry. You will need to be able to demonstrate good networking skills to work effectively within the University and with external bodies to ensure the strongest possible support is in place for researcher development at Keele.
