This post represents an exciting opportunity for an individual to join a team of staff in Keele University's Learning and Professional Development Centre. The Directorate of Human Resources and Student Services is responsible for providing a diverse range of services to staff and students at Keele University and is organised across 4 principal areas of
service: Human Resources, Learning and Professional Development, Student Support and Development and Occupational Health and Safety.
The Accredited Programmes Administrator will support the delivery, coordination, organisation and administration of all the accredited programmes administered by the Learning and Professional Development Centre. This currently includes the Masters in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education and its subsidiary awards, HEA CPD programme and ILM programmes. You will have 4 GCSE's, including Maths and English (Grade C or above) or equivalent qualifications/experience along with recent experience of working in a similar administrative capacity.
You should be 'customer-focused' with a friendly and positive approach with excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Working as part of a busy team, you will need to be able to organise and prioritise your own work and exercise initiative. The ability to work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail along with the ability to liaise confidently with a wide range of people is essential.
Experience of maintaining computerised databases, and of using Microsoft packages along with the ability to manage own time effectively in order to meet tight deadline is also essential. Previous experience of working in a Higher Education or comparable environment is desirable.
