The Opportunity
This post represents an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a team of staff in Keele University’s Foundation Year. The Foundation Year Centre is seeking to appoint a part-time Lecturer in Business (Education and Scholarship). The teaching responsibilities will be within the Foundation Year Business, Humanities and Social Science programmes which prepares students to access degrees in the Keele Business School and related degrees. This post represents an exciting opportunity for a teaching focussed individual to join a team who have a strong commitment to preparing students for successful degree level study and a commitment to the development of high-quality teaching, learning and assessment materials.
The successful candidate will conduct high-quality teaching and scholarship and undertake any administrative duties efficiently and effectively within the guidelines operated by the Centre. You will provide excellent teaching appropriate to a diverse student body and undertake academic administration in a self-directed, efficient manner. The holder will contribute to the Foundation Year Business Programme. The role will involve occasional weekend working, such as staffing open days.
You will have experience of teaching diverse students at level 3 and hold a teaching qualification or be working towards a teaching qualification. You will be educated to degree level in Business, economics, or related commercial discipline.
