The School of Law offers an exciting opportunity to join a successful group of research active staff and to play a crucial part in the next phase of the development of this internationally recognized and distinctive School of Law.
The successful applicant will join a School with a strong track record of research excellence, underlined in REF2014. The key areas
of research strength within the School of Law are:
Healthcare Law and Bioethics; International and European Law; Professions, Practice, and Legal Education; Private Law: Theory and Practice; Social Justice and Human Rights, Ageing and Social Welfare law and Gender, Sexuality and Law
. In addition to offering four qualifying Law degree pathways, and interdisciplinary undergraduate programmes, the School also offers seven postgraduate taught programmes reflecting research strengths.
The University is seeking to appoint a highly ambitious individual with excellent research outputs, with the ability to make a strong contribution to the delivery of our undergraduate modules (we have needs in Family, Contract, Company and Property) and to teach on our developing suite of high-quality postgraduate programmes within the School of Law.
