This post represents an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a team of staff in Keele University's School of Social Science and Public Policy, which is one of five Schools in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. The School is strongly committed to interdisciplinary research that enhances social inclusion.
Applications are
invited for a Lecturer in Education post which is available from 3rd January 2018 or as soon as possible thereafter. You will be expected to make a strong contribution to education research and inter-disciplinary research across the School. Key responsibilities will be to contribute to: Undergraduate Education, Masters in Education, Professional Doctorate (EdD) programmes, and in time to take a leading role in one of these programmes.
We welcome applications from candidates with expertise in Education Policy and Politics, Social Justice, Childhood/Youth and Inclusive Education. A teaching qualification, experience working in schools and/or a background in educational psychology would be an advantage, as would experience developing and managing programmes in a higher education context.
Potential candidates will be expected to hold a PhD or equivalent, be research active, and have excellent administrative and teaching skills.
