This is an exciting opportunity to join our Academic team who are highly dedicated and committed to delivering cutting edge professional education in partnership with students and our clinical colleagues. The team has a range of talents in research, education and clinical specialties and this post provides excellent opportunities for collaboration and
inter-professional learning and working. The School is proactive and responsive working collaboratively with stakeholders building upon its existing excellent pre-registration undergraduate, post registration undergraduate and post graduate programmes with an exciting new pre-registration masters in nursing which commenced in June 2016.
We are seeking to appoint a talented Lecturer in Adult Nursing who will initially lead the development and implementation of the BSc Nursing degree and contribute to the Adult Nursing programme and, where appropriate, other programmes within the School portfolio. You should hold current registration with the NMC as an Adult Nurse and hold a Degree/Postgraduate Diploma/**Master's degree in a health related subject. In addition you will also have experience of supporting pre-registration nursing students in a higher education and or practice setting.
In the 2016 National Student Survey we were ranked in the top 5 Schools of Nursing and Midwifery and second in England for the guardian league tables, which reflects the schools commitment to enhancing the student experience.
Please note this appointment is subject to both medical clearance and ongoing medical surveillance by the University Occupational Health provider and Disclosure and Barring Service checks.
