This post represents an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a team of staff in Keele University's School of Social Science and Public Policy, which is one of five Schools in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. The School is strongly committed to interdisciplinary research that enhances social inclusion.
Applications are
invited for a Teaching Fellow or a Lecturer in Social Work, which is available from 3rd January 2018 or as soon as possible thereafter. We would particularly welcome applications from candidates with expertise in Social Work with Adults. You will contribute to the development and delivery of our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Social Work and to the School's developing activities. Potential candidates will also be expected to have excellent administrative and teaching skills along with experience of effective partnership working between academic and practice based colleagues. In addition, candidates applying for the position of Lecturer should ideally have a doctoral qualification (or close to completion) and be research active. The post is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
