The School of Law offers an exciting opportunity to join a successful group of research active staff and to play a crucial part in the next phase of the development of this internationally recognized and distinctive School of Law.
The successful applicant will join a School with a strong track record of research excellence, underlined in REF2014. The key areas
of research strength within the School of Law are: Healthcare Law and Bioethics; International and European Law; Professions, Practice, and Legal Education; Private Law: Theory and Practice; and Social Justice and Human Rights. In addition to offering four qualifying Law degree pathways, and interdisciplinary undergraduate programmes, the School also offers seven postgraduate taught programmes reflecting research strengths.
The University is seeking to appoint a highly ambitious individual with excellent research potential, with the ability to make a strong contribution to the delivery of our undergraduate modules (we have needs in Family, Crime, Company and Property) and to teach on our developing suite of high-quality postgraduate programmes within the School of Law.
